Cute little roost spot off the beaten track…extremely friendly and fast service. We both had the cheesesteak pretzel and fries a fan favorite. It’s was absolutely delicious and fries were nice and crispy.
My husband and I stopped by The Roost for the first time, and we were both impressed! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and made to feel welcome. We each had the steak and cheese, and it was absolutely amazing! Hot, fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere was great, and the friendly service made the experience even better. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious meal and excellent customer service!
We stopped in after seeing a few videos on social media, and the food looked delicious. The Roost has all day breakfast and lunch items are available after 11am. We were in time for a late lunch, and we were not disappointed! We ordered the Cheesesteak Pretzel Sandwich, the SmashBurger Sliders, and the Nacho Fry Bowl. Everything we had was so good, seasoned to perfection, and so fresh. The cheesesteak was served on a pretzel roll that was warm and soft. The sliders were served on soft slider pretzel rolls. The Nacho Fry Bowl had the perfect flavors, crispy crinkle fries, cheese, the bacon…oh the bacon!…along with the jalapeños and sour cream. Yes. We will most definitely be back!
The King of The Coop chicken sandwich was huge and tasted delicious. Do not forget to order the sweet tea. It was truly freah brewed. Great to see a little place with a great atmosphere in Citrus county.
Amazing breakfast and lunch spot! The Sunrise Monte Cristo is a MUST! The street corn breakfast bowl was delicious as well! Their pretzel buns and pretzels are melt in your mouth delicious! Even their hot dog was amazing! Service is top notch! I can not recommend checking this place out enough! This was our second visit and we will definitely be back! Food is cooked fresh to order and portion sizes are great!
Cute spot!! We want one now….. DELICIOUS breakfast, I never eat my potato’s but these were cooked to perfection. My husband had the Monte Cristo and we even took one TO GO. Biscuits & gravy 10/10 don’t skip the sausage. Soooooo good
Grabbed a quick bite with the family and we will definitely be returning! Food was cooked fresh and fast, clean southern appeal and the pretzel bread sliders were incredible. Kids meals come with fresh baked cookies which my kiddo said they were "YUMMY!". Woman at the counter was very sweet and courteous .If you're in the area definitely swing by and support this local business.
LOVE this place!! Food is fresh made as you order. Portions are perfect. Prices are great. We had fried bologna sandwich. Highly recommend. Pretzel sliders!!! Very flavorful. Then of course had to have some pretzel dippers for dessert!!!! YUM!!!
Went back to The Roost for round two, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. My first visit, I had the Monte Cristo, which was outstanding. This time I went with the cheesesteak, and it was absolutely on point—packed with flavor and cooked just right. We also tried the cinnamon pretzels, and let’s just say they didn’t last long. If you’re looking for a spot that keeps delivering every time you visit, The Roost is worth checking out. Joey and Candi are super great people!
What a off the beaten path treat. First you are welcomed in with beautiful flowers and while the place is small it is cozy and warm. Really playing into the decor everything makes you feel like you are coming in from the farm to rest and recharge with good food. We got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Sadly no picture. It was very good. 8/10. We also couldn't come to a place with a pretzel in their logo without trying their pretzels. We opted for cinnamon sugar bites with a side of cream cheese icing. And when I tell you I could have licked the bowl I could HAVE licked the bowl! 10/10 will be back to try more tasty treats from this local business.
